Website Design

Speyburn is a Speyside single malt with a long history and an expanding international audience. The website needed to balance heritage with approachability while clearly presenting the product range.

The redesigned site places the whisky expressions at the centre of the experience. Product pages prioritise clear imagery, tasting notes and key information. Supporting content such as awards, serving suggestions and cocktail recipes is integrated without overwhelming the page.

Long-form pages use structured storytelling to guide users through the distillery’s history. Navigation is kept intuitive, allowing visitors to move naturally between product, heritage and brand content.

Micro-interactions are used lightly to support engagement rather than distract from it. The CMS is modular, giving the team control over layout and updates while maintaining visual consistency.

Built to WCAG AA standards, the site balances storytelling with usability. It supports brand growth while remaining grounded in its origins.
