Brand Identity

Garscube Harriers is one of Scotland’s longest established athletics clubs. Following an earlier anniversary refresh, the club was ready for a more comprehensive update to its identity.

The new crest keeps the intersecting G and H monogram, maintaining a strong link to the club’s history. The typography was refined to create a more balanced and contemporary mark while respecting the character of the original design.

The crest also needed to work well on club kit such as running vests, hoodies and jackets. It had to remain legible and recognisable at a range of sizes, from race vests on the track to small digital avatars online.

The identity was designed to adapt easily across social media and digital platforms without losing its integrity. The simplified crest ensures it remains recognisable wherever it appears.

The result is a respectful update that supports the club’s heritage while giving it a practical and durable identity for the years ahead.

Alongside Garscube Harriers, I’ve also worked with professional clubs including Alloa Athletic FC, Falkirk FC, Peterhead FC and Elgin City FC.
