I’m Peter Scott a Graphic designer based in Glasgow specialising in design for print, web and brand identity. My approach to design is to keep it simple, making sure the clients message is delivered to their audience effectively whilst making sure it stands out aesthetically.
Having worked with a variety of clients here in Scotland and elsewhere, I’ve designed and art-directed many projects which includes annual reports for housing associations; brand identities, packaging and marketing materials for health supplements; Mobile apps and websites for the tourism sector; and exhibitions for museums and art galleries.
The fast pace of the creative industry suits me well, and I’m continuously adapting and learning new skills and designing for new technologies including online and mobile applications. I love to explore new design techniques, to push boundaries and to create effective and original ideas – both for my clients and my self-initiated work.
Away from graphic design I’m a very keen illustrator which often helps me in many of my design projects. From sketching out ideas for logos or page layouts to creating hand-drawn type, logos or characters for animation I enjoy both the challenge and freedom illustration brings.
