On the Streets of Manchester

Here are some photos I took on my last visit to Manchester. I’ve visited Manchester on many occasions and I always enjoy my time there, not just in the pubs or karaoke bars with friends or shopping at the Trafford Centre but because every time I visit I discover something new or visit an area I’ve never been before.

The real reason for this visit was to view the Illustration exhibition at the MMU Manchester School of Art where my cousin Joanne Wong had just graduated. The standard of work was really high and a good mix of illustrative styles. I also managed to make time to visit the graphic design and also the interior design exhibitions which were also really good. All this brought back the memories of getting my final exhibitions ready for my HND and degree courses. Doing the ‘all nighter’ just to make sure the artwork was looking good, finalising any last-minute tweaks then printing and mounting the pieces on foam board and finishing the mock ups. I wouldn’t have had to do an all nighted had my printer not started playing up!

Already looking forward to my next visit!
